How Bail Bonds Work
If the arrested individual does not have cash or property sufficient to cover the face amount of bail, they can use the services of a bail agent or “bondsman.” The bail agent agrees to secure the release of the accused individual in return for a fee of the bail. Once an agreement has been made, the Bail Bond is posted for our client in the designated Jail pending their release from the Detention Facility. After our client is released from in custody, their obligation to us is to continue to making all the scheduled court appearances ordered by the court.

As Per Department of Insurance, the standard industry rate for bail bonds is 10% of the total amount of bail. For example, if the bail amount is $10,000, the fee is $1,000.
